As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll bring your expertise to a collaborative, value-driven team making a real difference for clients across the U.S. As a key member of our tax team, you'll help business owners gain clarity and confidence in their finances. You'll also mentor junior staff and build strong client relationships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent public accounting experience and multiple successful tax seasons
- Proven ability to prepare and review both individual and business returns
- Experience in both tax and accounting (including QuickBooks)
- Excellent time management and communication skills in a remote environment
- A collaborative mindset and growth-oriented attitude
- EA or CPA track (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, and Individuals
- Deliver proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services
- Review and mentor junior team members on tax return prep
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current laws
- Perform accounting reviews and journal entries in QuickBooks
- Lead virtual advisory meetings to discuss financials, budgets, and forecasts
