Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to support and manage U.S. corporate tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities. This role will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager, cross-functional internal teams, and external tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely tax filings while supporting strategic tax initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in U.S. corporate tax (Form 1120), with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting
  • Strong tax research capabilities with a problem-solving mindset
  • Superior attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to adapt to change, manage multiple priorities and projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Review U.S. federal (Form 1120), state income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and income tax provisions prepared by external consultants; ensure timely filings and payments
  • Manage the tax calendar and monitor state and local tax portals to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Prepare and file state and local indirect tax returns
  • Oversee Form 1099 filings and related documentation
  • Perform monthly tax account reconciliations and support tax related month-end closing
  • Assist with tax research and planning initiatives and identify tax-planning opportunities; prepare technical analyses and supporting documentation
  • Assist with quarterly and annual intercompany services charge workpapers as part of transfer pricing compliance
  • Research and respond to federal and state tax notices
  • Gather and manage tax data, collaborate cross-functionally, and coordinate with affiliated companies on tax compliance, provisions, and other related projects
  • Maintain quality standards, internal controls, and compliance with applicable U.S. tax laws and regulations across all tax processes
  • Support special tax projects, initiatives, and other tax-related matters as needed
