Trueline is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a respected Cape Coral, Florida based CPA firm known for its specialized tax expertise and close-knit team, . Requirements

5 to 10 years of public accounting experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized CPA firm
Strong background in tax preparation and planning for individuals and entities (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.)
Experience working with non-resident clients and cross-border tax issues
Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping workflows
EA or CPA designation (or currently pursuing) a big plus
High attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to manage workload independently

Nice To Haves

Experience with trust returns and high-net-worth individuals
Comfortable in a small office setting with direct client interaction
Familiarity with Florida-specific tax nuances and regional client needs

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, S-Corp, and trust tax returns, with a strong focus on non-resident 1040s
Handle tax planning and advisory for clients with diverse portfolios
Work closely with the firm’s principal CPA to manage client engagements from start to finish
Provide high-level bookkeeping support and QuickBooks oversight for select clients
Collaborate with internal bookkeeping team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Support clients with IRS correspondence, compliance, and filings
Maintain detailed workpapers and documentation in line with public accounting standards
