As a Sr. Talent Recruiter, you’ll support our Commercial and Executive talent acquisition team as both a recruiter and a trusted advisor, working with hiring managers to understand our business needs, refine interview processes, and create and execute creative hiring strategies. In close partnership with the Head of Executive & Commercial Recruitment for TELUS Digital Solutions, you will contribute to Executive and Leadership Commercial searches globally through sourcing, market research, EVP creation, and internal stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience recruiting for Commercial and Executive talent, including executive and leadership positions
  • Proven experience in outbound sourcing and engaging passive candidates at leadership levels, paired with experience pitching EVPs to prospects to drive interest
  • Experience hiring talent from top-tier consultancies (Deloitte, Accenture, BCG, etc.)
  • Experience with implementing creative and innovative candidate engagement strategies in partnership with business stakeholders
  • Experience in the creation, negotiation, and delivery of offers that include commission plans, long-term incentives, variable compensation, etc.
  • Able to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong ability to establish consultative partnerships and build trust with candidates and hiring managers
  • Proficient in juggling multiple priorities, roles, and hiring manager relationships without compromising quality
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics and how to utilize data to influence hiring decisions and improve recruitment strategies

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing candidates to gathering feedback from new hires, to continuously improve our hiring process
  • Increased attention on proactive sourcing activity to drive premier talent prospects into our search pipelines
  • Collaborate with senior Commercial leadership, hiring managers, and interview teams to build inclusive and motivated teams
  • Develop innovative strategies to scale the hiring practice across multiple locations and geographies
  • Maintain relationships with top talent, ensuring access to diverse talent pools for current and future positions through our CRM and Sourcing technology.
  • Facilitate interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural alignment with the firm
  • Conduct proactive market research to create job descriptions, advise on compensation, and understand the competitive landscape in various geographies.
  • Adapt, and pitch our EVP to match the business evolution, negotiate complex hiring situations, and maintain high offer acceptance rates
  • Provide timely and regular communication with candidates and hiring managers about the recruitment process
  • Partner with hiring teams on interview best practices to ensure an inclusive interview process that builds diverse and equitable teams
  • Use data to evaluate pipeline and sourcing health, and implement strategies to improve recruiting outcomes
