About The Position

As a Senior Talent Outreach Specialist at Oncor, you’ll design, execute, and continuously improve outreach strategies that strengthen partnerships with universities, student organizations, community-based nonprofits, veterans’ networks, and trade and technical programs—while delivering measurable recruiting outcomes aligned with Oncor’s long-term workforce needs. You’ll play a critical role in shaping Oncor’s future workforce by expanding access, strengthening community partnerships, and building sustainable, inclusive talent pipelines across Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Outreach & Pipeline Development Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies with universities, student organizations, professional associations, national organizations and community partners.
  • Partner with internal Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support Oncor representation at hiring events and community engagements.
  • Serve as the primary external relationship lead for key national and regional organizations, professional organizations and other strategic partners.
  • Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with campus leaders, faculty, student organizations, and community stakeholders.
  • Act as a visible Oncor ambassador at career fairs, campus events, conferences, and community recruiting activities statewide.
  • Recruiting & Talent Sourcing Source, engage, and cultivate candidates from non-traditional and emerging talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Early Careers Specialist and broader recruitment team to align outreach efforts with role requirements and hiring priorities.
  • Partner with Sr. Human Resource (HR) Data Analyst regarding workforce metrics.
  • Support outreach-driven recruiting efforts with a focus on early-career talent, skilled trades, and mid-career professionals.
  • Strategy, Collaboration & Influence Serve as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition, HR, and business leaders to align outreach initiatives regarding workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and pilot innovative recruiting and engagement approaches.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new partnerships, sourcing strategies, and engagement models that expand reach and impact.
  • Metrics, Reporting & Insights Track, analyze, and report quarterly outreach and recruiting metrics, including pipeline activity, event outcomes, candidate conversion rates, and partnership effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve outreach strategy and execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of partnerships, events, outreach spend, and results.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to monitor and manage outreach-related budget and expenditures.
