About The Position

The Senior Talent Development Specialist supports the organization’s long-term talent readiness by designing, delivering and evaluating practical people development and capability-building programs aligned with evolving business needs. This role identifies emerging skill gaps and delivers reskilling programs and learning experiences to build critical capabilities for future business demands. The role introduces and executes new development initiatives, supports their adoption, and tracks impact to drive continuous improvement. In close collaboration with leaders and HR Business Partners, it strengthens career pathways, supports employee growth and engagement, and contributes to stronger organizational performance. This is an on-site role reporting to the Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness Department.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Instructional Design and L&D Strategies.
  • Working knowledge of a Learning Management System.
  • Ability to design training and communications using a variety of tools.
  • Excellent and engaging facilitation skills, confident public speaking in large and small groups.
  • Ability to cultivate credible relationships with all levels in the organization.
  • Aptitude to foster collaboration and actively seek diverse perspectives.
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for learning.
  • Excellent organization, communication, project management, and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience aligning learning strategies with business goals, managing concurrent projects, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across all levels on initiatives that drive organizational impact.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Talent Development-related functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities for workshops and leadership programs.
  • Experience with authoring tools used to create e-learning courses, Articulate 360.
  • Administrator for a Learning Management System, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud Learning.
  • Leadership and team assessment certification (e.g. Clifton Strengths Finder, Hogan, DiSC).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Learning & Development strategy that strengthens future talent capabilities, addresses emerging skill gaps and supports Hunt’s long-term business objectives.
  • Design, customize, and deliver learning experiences across various in-person, virtual, and on-demand formats. These sessions include workshops, learning journeys, toolkits, job aids, and curated content that build critical technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Facilitate engaging learning sessions by using various instructional techniques and formats such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
  • Own the full learning lifecycle, including program preparation, communication, logistical arrangements, and creating learning paths.
  • Work with business leaders and HR Business Partners to identify capability and skill gaps, conduct learning needs assessments, and co-create targeted training, development, and reskilling solutions aligned with evolving business priorities
  • Update and maintain the corporate learning and development calendar and the People Development Catalog.
  • Support leaders and employees in building development plans aligned to career pathways, succession planning needs, and future organizational capabilities.
  • Administer and continuously optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), currently Oracle HCM Cloud Fusion, to improve user experience, learning accessibility, reporting and adoption.
  • Provide project and program support for Organizational Effectiveness initiatives.
  • Support the Goal Management Process by facilitating training and goal planning workshops, reinforcing alignment between goals and business strategy.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs by developing success criteria, monitoring attendance and other relevant metrics, and creating reports to identify areas for improvement and enhance professional development initiatives.
  • Monitor emerging trends and best practices in talent development, skill transformation, and organizational capability building to refresh and evolve Hunt’s approach.
  • Collaborate across the Hunt Family of Companies to support alignment and scalability of learning and development frameworks, tools, and key programs.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors and service providers to support the delivery and enhancement of the organization’s talent development offerings, ensuring quality, alignment with business needs, and effective integration into existing programs.
