About The Position

As a Systems Integration Engineer at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration of shoreside systems and onboard applications. This position requires a dynamic approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust solutions that align with our business objectives. You will lead the development and deployment of API-driven integrations, using Mulesoft as a primary tool to establish efficient and reusable integration frameworks. Your role will span the full lifecycle of MuleSoft integrations, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support while optimizing for performance, resilience, and security. With a strong background in IT and experience, you will drive innovation and operational excellence, delivering solutions that bridge our shoreside and onboard environments for a truly connected and exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years as an Integration Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft API development and deployment, including RESTful API design, integration frameworks (e.g., SOA, microservices), and production-grade deployments (on-prem, CloudHub, or hybrid)
  • Advanced knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components, including API Manager, Design Center, and Runtime Manager, with proficiency in Anypoint Studio, Java, JSON, XML, and data transformation
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure), CI/CD practices, automated testing, and DevOps methodologies
  • Strong analytical and design skills, focusing on system design, data flow, and performance optimization
  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analyses and troubleshoot complex integration issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field is required; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics F&O
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), CI/CD practices, and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of MuleSoft integrations, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, optimizing for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging MuleSoft's API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues, enhancing existing applications for peak performance and reliability.
  • Stay current with MuleSoft features, updates, and industry trends, continuously driving innovation to deliver effective, robust solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, perform unit and integration testing, and manage CI/CD processes to ensure quality and efficient deployment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, processes, and best practices.
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly, prioritizing based on impact and urgency.
  • Adhere to coding best practices, with a strong focus on resilience, security, and data integrity across integration solutions.
