We’re seeking a visionary leader to drive transformational change across our engineering practices and client engagements. This role is ideal for a senior professional who thrives on innovation, strategic influence, and empowering high-performing teams to deliver excellence in complex systems environments.  Your role  Lead transformational initiatives that redefine how Systems Engineering is delivered across industries, from concept to execution.  Serve as a strategic partner to clients, aligning technical scope with business goals and guiding the delivery of high-impact engineering solutions.  Inspire and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  Champion Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and other advanced methodologies to elevate engineering maturity and performance.  Drive organizational change by implementing best practices, conducting maturity assessments, and delivering actionable roadmaps for improvement.  Represent Capgemini as a thought leader, contributing to industry forums, client workshops, and internal capability development.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience applying and teaching systems engineering processes and principles and mentoring and teaching junior systems engineers
  • Extensive experience of System Architecture (operational, functional and logical), requirements engineering, interface definition, verification and validation
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience in Product Line Engineering, Change and Configuration Management
  • Experience with Systems Engineering tools (eg IBM DOORS, DOORS NG, Cameo/Catia Magic MSOSA, modelling languages and frameworks (e.g. SysML), ISO 15288)
  • Extensive experience in definition, design, modelling or simulation of safety-critical, complex aerospace systems
  • Experience with CS/FAR part 25 and applicable standards (eg. ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254)
  • Ability to lead change across organizations, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in coaching and developing talent, building resilient and future-ready engineering teams.
  • Adept at translating technical complexity into strategic business value.
  • Passionate about continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and driving excellence through collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Having served as Principal Systems Architect of Chief Engineer a Plus
  • Systems Engineering certifications desired (e.g. INCOSE, OMG)
