About The Position

Sr. Systems Engineer - Huntsville, AL Full Visibility is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. This includes the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendations, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Systems Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Requirements

Active Top Secret Clearance/SCI Eligibility
At least one (8+) years of Systems Engineering experience
Linux, VM, STIG, and patching experience
Infrastructure and systems integration
Administration for various COTS and GOTS tools
Experience with both on-prem and cloud environments (AWS)
Experience supporting the design, development, and review of systems engineering
Knowledge of multiple operating systems, applications, and database platforms
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
