About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our dedicated team with the incredible opportunity for growth. This will be an onsite position at a client located in the Woodbridge NJ, area.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT Technician, preferably in an MSP environment.
  • Solid background in dealing with escalated technical requests and providing escalated support.
  • Strong familiarity with server administration, including DNS management.
  • Proven experience with Intune and Azure, demonstrating expertise in managing cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle critical client technical matters with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent troubleshooting instincts and the ability to identify and resolve network and server issues.
  • Proficiency in logging in to firewalls, switches, and other network devices for configuration and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting excellent customer service.
  • Dedication to professional growth and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Handle escalated technical requests that other technicians were unable to resolve, ensuring prompt and effective solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in server administration, including DNS management, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of clients' server infrastructure.
  • Utilize your experience with AVD, Intune and Azure to effectively manage and maintain clients' cloud-based solutions, ensuring proper integration and security.
  • Possess a sense of urgency when dealing with critical client technical matters, prioritizing and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Demonstrate exceptional troubleshooting skills, investigating and resolving complex network and server issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the team based out of the Lakewood office, actively participating in knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Exhibit a strong dedication to teamwork, readily assisting colleagues and clients as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, both in-person and when communicating remotely with clients, promoting excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
