Raytheon’s Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is seeking for a qualified System Engineer to join the Sensors and BMCI team to support Multi-Disciplined Radar System level testing and mission system scenarios. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined SI&T engineers and customer teams executing our test events.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with electronics, circuitry, schematics, and/or RF hardware.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Security Clearance: Secret - Current

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Patriot Air Defense System, MEIs in the Fire Unit.
  • SICO and/or systems upgrades experience for a radar system.
  • Familiarity with the 9-1430-2601-20 Series TMs.
  • Experience with RMSS and diagnostics.
  • Experience with MATLAB and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems using schematics and standard and specialized test equipment.
  • Hands-on operation and maintenance of radar systems
  • Perform analysis and problem-solving of systems issues real-time
  • Work in a team environment and directly interface with customers and management across multiple disciplines.
  • Work in a rapidly paced test and tactical environment.
