The SPY-6 Family of Radars is seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to help in the execution of integration and analysis activities. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for helping to identify issues, generate solutions, and verify the solutions are implemented as designed. This role will require communication skills to convey solutions and results to teammates and leadership. This position is in Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with tools, such as MATLAB/Python or C++
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Cumulative 3.00 GPA
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
  • Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
  • Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
  • Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations

Responsibilities

  • You will develop concepts of operations for radar systems
  • You will be responsible for radar processing algorithm development
  • You will be responsible for radar software requirements development
  • You will be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
  • You will be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
  • You will be responsible for working with with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
  • You will present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
