Raytheon develops world-class satellite ground systems and counters national security threats through cyber solutions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in Systems engineering lifecycle experience in at least one phase—such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation support, integration, verification and validation, deployment, or maintenance of large software systems
  • Experience in operations and maintenance tasks and activities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued DOD TS/SCI with poly is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Linux (Red Hat)
  • Experience with Oracle and Postgres databases
  • Experience with Account Management/Maintenance
  • Experience with CompTIA Security + Certification
  • Experience with System Testing
  • Experience working autonomously and making technical decisions

Responsibilities

  • Supporting baseline installations into operations
  • Troubleshooting operational issues, dealing with anomalies and system recovery
  • Supporting the generation of weekly and monthly availability reports, plus any ad-hoc requests for data
  • Attending technical exchange meetings as the representative for the program
  • Supporting resolution of technical systems engineering, integration, and operations issues
  • Attending coordination meetings with other segments to plan operational activities
  • Monitoring, tracking, coordinating, and implementing operational workloads
  • Providing off-hours call-in support to assist 24/7 operations.
  • Work within a closed area lab in Las Cruces, New Mexico
