About The Position

The Senior Systems Analyst will work independently on complex projects at the highest technical level, engaging in all phases of application systems analysis activities. The role requires a diversified skill set and knowledge to collaborate with multiple business units in multi-platform environments. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless execution of projects, avoiding errors that could lead to delays, expenses, or disruptions. This position involves working with third-party vendors, improving business processes, and ensuring the critical nature of cybersecurity is upheld.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of directly related experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Proven experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Prior experience with full lifecycle implementations of vendor software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret architecture diagrams, program coding, and scripts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with .Net or Java programming.
  • Experience developing and enhancing interfaces.
  • Project implementation experience with vendor software.
  • Prior experience in a utility or regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute full lifecycle implementations of vendor software solutions, including requirement gathering, testing, integrations, and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to enhance business processes.
  • Ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated and maintained effectively.
  • Analyze and understand Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Interpret architecture diagrams, program coding, and scripts.
  • Provide guidance and advice to peers, customers, and co-workers.
  • Identify and implement improved work alternatives and business processes.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced Systems Analysts.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
