Responsibilities
- Lead Data Governance Practices: Implement and champion governance standards across data engineering teams to ensure consistency and adoption
- Promote Enterprise Data Concepts: Drive adoption of data product principles, including domain ownership, data contracts, and service-level expectations
- Establish Metadata & Master Data Standards: Define and implement solutions for data cataloging, metadata management, and master data management
- Improve Data Quality: Develop and monitor enterprise data quality standards, including validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes; Define metrics and reporting
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with business units and IT to deliver trusted, high-quality data for analytics, integrations, and other use cases
- Mentor & Influence: Embed best practices for data governance and management, and guide teams to increase data literacy and stewardship
