About The Position

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Senior Systems Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

• MA/MS degree and 12+years of relevant experience or a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in model and simulation development.
• Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and applications.
• Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications.
• Experience in model and simulation requirements development.
• Experience in model and simulation verification and validation.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have a DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models.
• Experience with environmental models and environmental states, and effects.
• Experience with missile defense systems and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes.
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review Framework, RepBox, and CTM requirements and diagrams.
• Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents.
• Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements.
• Actively participate in Framework, RepBox, and CTM Program Increment Planning activities.
• Develop and review verification and validation plans for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization.
• Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc.
• Play a role in the overall functional strategic planning of Framework, RepBox, and CTM System Engineering processes within the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
