About The Position

The Senior Systems Analyst plays a key role in the management, improvement, and oversight of assigned core business systems and processes within the credit union. Reporting to the System Operations Manager, this position assumes a lead role evaluating and enhancing system functions, driving operational improvements, and leading efforts in business analytics and process enhancements for designated core systems. With a deep understanding of the credit union's structure, policies, and operations, the Senior Systems Analyst recommends and implements solutions that advance organizational objectives. Take a leadership role in understanding and aligning with Family Trust’s strategic direction, structure, and initiatives, ensuring deep knowledge of assigned core and supporting systems. Conduct advanced analysis of business processes and systems to identify and implement improvement opportunities, serving as a key collaborator with internal stakeholders. Spearhead major system enhancements and process improvement initiatives, focusing on significant enhancements to operations and system performance, driving improvements in collaboration with business units. Resolve complex system issues with a strategic approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis, preventing future disruptions. Serve as a primary communicator for project and system updates and releases. Manage the system testing process, establishing best practices for quality assurance and overseeing the successful deployment of new applications and system updates. Conduct thorough research and due diligence on core systems, making and implementing recommendations for system changes or upgrades with a focus on long-term efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee vendor management activities for assigned systems, ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with service level agreements. Play a pivotal role in strategic projects, advocating for and implementing continuous improvement and best practices alongside the System Operations Manager. Develop and deliver regular reports on system performance and project progress, leveraging business analytics tools to provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Establish and uphold procedural and operational standards for assigned core systems.
