About The Position

As a Sr. Systems Admin, IT Operations & Infrastructure, you'll be a key technical leader, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our core enterprise systems. You'll ensure the reliability and performance of our critical platforms, providing expert-level support and mentorship to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical degree
  • 5+ years in a medium to large enterprise network; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud networking (security groups, Firewall Manager, IGW, GWLB, VPC PrivateLink, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) and infrastructure automation using Python, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Git.
  • Practical experience administering Palo Alto firewalls (physical/virtual), including Panorama, PAN-OS, SSL decryption, Advanced Threat Protection, EDS, and complex network configurations.
  • Advanced experience with F5 BIG-IP and F5 Distributed Cloud (RE/CE clusters, load balancing, DNS, active-active topologies, DR/BC implementations).
  • Extensive knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access (ATP, URL/cloud app filtering, sandboxing, SSL inspection) and Zscaler Private Access (app segments, access policies, connectors, private service edges, ML-driven recommendations).
  • Skilled in monitoring and performance platforms such as Dynatrace and XSIAM, with the ability to design enterprise-wide network infrastructure strategies and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Strong communicator and collaborative team player with a commitment to customer satisfaction, cross-functional alignment, and delivering on team objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical leadership for complex projects, including gathering requirements, creating specifications, and designing end-to-end network and systems solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members by supplying technical direction, best practices, and hands-on guidance across data networking initiatives.
  • Implement, test, and validate solutions in lab and production environments, ensuring proper documentation, tuning, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Maintain daily operational responsibility for reliability, resiliency, and uptime of enterprise network and system platforms, following established SLAs and processes.
  • Monitor availability and performance using tools such as SolarWinds Orion, Cisco Prime, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), AWS Cloud Networking, and F5 (BIG-IP & Distributed Cloud), performing troubleshooting, audits, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Deliver solutions architecture for platform use in business projects, including configuration, monitoring and alerting setup, performance tuning, and continuous improvement across enterprise systems.
