Pay Range: $115,100.00 - $189,200.00 Position Summary: Bio-Techne has a great opportunity for a highly motivated and hands-on Senior System Product Engineer that will report into the System Product Engineering group. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing group in a role that can highly impact the organization by developing new and unique products to enable scientists around the world to further science. The team is a highly motivated and collaborative group that is empowered to innovate. This team’s focus is to drive projects and actions to enhance the customer experience and product quality. The Senior System Product Engineer will focus on all system level engineering activities related to the instrument and consumable of our existing and future innovative products. The scope of work are, but not limited to, troubleshooting, requirements development, integration testing, system verification testing, data mining & analysis, characterization, process development, and design transfer to manufacturing & field. Key Attributes/Experience: Significant hands-on experience troubleshooting instrument platforms where root causes are unclear if the issue is instrument, cartridge/consumable, or assay. Experience and effective communication to drive/manage projects that involves different organizations such as field, marketing, sales, operations, & development. Experience with collaborating with vendors to improve their quality Strong system integration skills with experience with development of an opto-mechanical instrument that requires multi-engineering disciplines. Experience with contributing and influencing development design. Design experiments & analyze large data sets using statistical analysis Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study required. 10 years relevant work experience in complex instruments/systems involving integration of mechanical/electrical/optical/software components and subsystems. Strong multidisciplinary technical skills are essential.
