One California Job Summary and Responsibilities Position Summary: In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health the position is responsible for scrub duties in the operating rooms under the direction of the Perioperative Manager. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities seek guidance when in doubt promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program. #RN@DH #hellosurgicaltechs

Requirements

  • Must have either one (1) year of previous acute hospital experience with certification within the past three (3) years in an Operating Room or 3 years acute care hospital experience within the last 5 years.
  • Graduate of high school or equivalency.
  • Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program.
  • Certified Surgery Tech (CT OR)
  • Basic life support (AHA BLS)
  • In lieu of certification hospital will accept 3 years acute care hospital experience within the last 5 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five (5) years preferred.
