Job Summary: This position will assist account managers and surety practice leaders in providing clients' bond needs and participating as needed in special projects. This position works under direct supervision and tutelage of account managers creating the path to account management by assisting with the department administrative duties including recordkeeping and execution of all types of surety bonds. Requirements

  • Technology Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Applied EPIC experience
  • SurePath/Tinubu or similar surety bonding software experience
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Ability to pass a clerical assessment
  • Able to pass drug and background checks

  • Education and Experience:
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Must hold Texas Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Prior experience in surety bonds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
  • Prior customer service in banking or insurance
  • Prior paralegal experience
  • College experience

Responsibilities

  • Operations administration
  • Maintain and update client financial and bond files
  • Receive and dispatch correspondence promptly
  • Review Contracts and Bond forms and extract relevant information
  • Ensure the accuracy bid and final bond request
  • Prepare bid and final bonds
  • Frequently Keep client updated on request status
  • Process final close-outs for premium audits
  • Act as liaison with surety companies and maintain surety relationships
  • Act as liaison with clients and client staff
  • Assist Producers
  • Assist other team members
  • General Administration
  • Prepare routine/follow-up correspondence - paper and electronic
  • File
  • Draft and/or send correspondence
  • Prepare overnight packages and receipts
  • Answer the telephone and respond to voice messages
  • Assist in mailings
  • Other administrative support, as directed
