About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and strategic Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing procurement, material planning, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics across all product lines. The ideal candidate will ensure timely material availability, manage supplier performance, and drive process standardization across purchasing, shipping, and receiving. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier management, with a focus on expediting and PO execution.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing supply chain or purchasing teams.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Experience working in ISO-regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Sage, NetSuite required).

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CPM/CPPM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, including purchasing, planning, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Oversee full-cycle procurement and material planning to support production schedules (standard and custom builds).
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, lead time, quality, and supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including qualification, performance monitoring, corrective actions (CAPA), and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions, alternate sourcing, and early supplier involvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, QA/QC, Operations, and Finance to align supply chain activities with business needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and lead times to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize risk.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and material movement using ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite) and Excel.
  • Develop and maintain purchasing policies, procedures, and systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier contracts, and documentation to support audits.
  • Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards; present supply chain performance to executive leadership.
  • Manage shipping, packaging, and logistics in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Oversee supplier data integrity and continuous improvement programs focused on quality and delivery performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of buyers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
