About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. This position involves creating and publishing monthly Operations plans aligned with corporate strategies and priorities, optimized across Global Operations, Business Units, Corporate Strategy, and Finance. The role requires direct interaction with global Micron team members across various organizational levels within and outside the Supply Chain. Key responsibilities include supporting transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and driving overall process efficiency and effectiveness. The engineer will perform high-level supply-demand matching for the DRAM memory product family, provide fiscal quarterly projections for supply, demand, and ending inventory, and execute demand planning activities for various DRAM products based on factors like supply feasibility, market share targets, inventory levels, and customer priorities. Part-time telecommuting may be an option.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Fundamental theory, concepts and procedures required for industrial experimental design, statistical data analysis, and model building
  • Supply chain operations
  • Systems engineering process, project management, planning, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Lean manufacturing quantitative modeling methodologies, lean manufacturing cell design and case study analysis
  • Measurement principles, data collection and data analysis to solve quality engineering problems

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish monthly OPS plan in accordance with corporate strategies and priorities, which must be optimized across various constraints and priorities of Global Operations, Business Units, Corporate Strategy and Finance
  • Directly interact with Micron global team members at various levels of the organization inside and outside of the Supply Chain
  • Support transformation initiatives, process improvement projects and activities, and create and drive improvement to overall process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Perform high level supply-demand match for DRAM memory product family
  • Provide projections for supply, demand, and ending inventory on a fiscal quarterly basis
  • Execute demand planning activities for various DRAM products based on factors, including supply feasibility, market share targets, inventory levels, and customer priorities
