About The Position

We are seeking to hire a Senior Supervisor, Acocunting to join our Austin, TX HQ location. This role will supervise a team of inventory analysts in the day to day operations of the inventory accounting department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience preferably with a large, public company
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledgeable of general accounting principles and practices
  • Sound organizational skill to handle multiple priorities and unexpected interruptions
  • Able to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to follow projects through to implementation
  • Strong desire to learn; self-motivated; takes initiative and can work independently
  • Ability to be flexible with work assignments and work schedules
  • Ability to handle stressful situation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications in a professional manner to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Proficient and very experienced with general accounting software
  • Knowledgeable of SOX compliance
  • Knowledgeable of inventory and cost accounting

Responsibilities

  • Oversees quarterly and annual physical inventory activities across all clinics, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors
  • Performs inventory valuation, including unit and extended cost analysis
  • Prepares and analyze inventory and backlog KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Utilizes data tools to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, cost efficiencies, and risk areas through data analysis
  • Collaborates with field leadership, clinic teams, and supply chain to enhance inventory processes
  • Supports integration of acquisitions, including diligence and fair market valuation
  • Ensures adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance standards
  • Develops and leads an effective team of high caliber inventory support analysts
  • Reviews work performed by direct reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
  • Conducts ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
  • Travels up to 20% for site visits and inventory audits
