About The Position

• Prepare and oversee structural calculations and designs for a variety of building projects, including gravity and lateral force-resisting systems. • Develop structural detailing and coordinate structural construction documents across disciplines. • Conduct site visits, observe existing conditions and construction progress, and prepare engineering letters or recommendations as required. • Review shop drawings, perform back-checks of structural documents, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs). • Assist with managing departmental personnel, including mentoring junior engineers and supporting workload distribution. • Support project management efforts, including coordination, scheduling, and quality control of structural deliverables. • Work closely with leadership to support department growth, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional structural engineering experience.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Demonstrated experience designing with all typical construction materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to lead technical work while supporting team and project management functions.
