Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with finite element modeling using FEMAP or Patran
  • Experience with computer aided design ( CAD ) tools, Catia, or SolidWorks
  • Ability to support large-scale projects
  • Ability to create or complete finite element models using loads data obtained from the original equipment manufacturer or data obtained from structural test fixtures
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, or Master's degree in an engineering field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering and 8+ years of experience in the aerospace industry

  • Ability to create CAD designs of aircraft primary or sec ond ary structural assemblies, installations, and detail parts
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering preferred
  • Doctorate degree in ME, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering a plus
