About The Position

Leidos' Defense Sector seeks a Senior Strategy and Campaign Analyst to shape strategic direction, execute growth initiatives, and drive profitability across 8 business areas spanning mission hardware, software, integration, and services. This role is based at Leidos headquarters in Reston, Virginia, reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, Campaigns and Growth Operations and requires up to five days in office per week. Primary Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Analysis Develop Defense Sector strategy aligned with corporate strategic planning processes to meet or exceed business goals Lead market analysis using internal analysts and external research to inform strategic decisions Monitor market trends, customer priorities, and competitive positioning to identify growth opportunities and risks Identify capability gaps and emerging technology opportunities Growth & Partnership Development Collaborate with Business Area Growth, Office of Technology, and Corporate Strategy teams to cultivate strategic partnerships Support organic growth planning and opportunity development Assist with inorganic activities including M&A, divestitures, geographic expansions, and joint ventures Executive Support & Project Management Lead high-priority special projects with cross-functional coordination and executive-ready recommendations Develop compelling presentations that translate strategic, market, and financial analyses into actionable insights Support the Sector CFO during Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) processes Assist the Defense Sector Chief of Staff with ad hoc and quick-turn assignments Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree with 6+ years) Previous experience in corporate/sector strategy, business strategy, finance/operations, or corporate development with a defense or technology company Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Demonstrated expertise in market research and financial analysis Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation development and Excel financial modeling A current Top Secret clearance, with the ability to attain an SCI Preferred Qualifications Highly motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent communication skills Ability to gain internal support, work independently with limited supervision, and establish strong relationships with senior management and peers Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint presentations, Excel pivot tables, and financial analysis Ability to work in-office up to five days per week If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree with 6+ years)
  • Previous experience in corporate/sector strategy, business strategy, finance/operations, or corporate development with a defense or technology company
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in market research and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint presentation development and Excel financial modeling
  • A current Top Secret clearance, with the ability to attain an SCI
