Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges. As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support. Our team seeks to enable and empower Google's Engineering and Infrastructure leaders to steer the technology and R D road map towards financially optimal outcomes via scalable processes, quantitative analysis, strong FP&A governance, and the translation of complexities into actionable insights. As the Silicon Financial & Competitive Analysis Senior Analyst, you will play a critical, cross-functional role at the intersection of finance, engineering, and supply chain. Your primary mandate will be to drive a deep, competitive understanding of the silicon manufacturing and supply chain landscape (e.g., custom TPUs, CPUs, and accelerators) to inform long-term financial strategy and market positioning. You will be the go-to expert for quantifying the cost and competitive implications of silicon design, fabrication, and post-fab processes. This role requires an individual who can model the economic relationships between design choices, manufacturing techniques, supplier agreements, and final product delivery. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
