About The Position

Requisitions all needed materials and supplies. Responsible for receipt, care disbursement and inventories of all storeroom materials and supplies. Responsible for issuing emergency purchase orders. Responsible for maintaining necessary storeroom records and reports. Performs other related and less skilled work as required. Directs the work of others assisting him. Assists in making periodic ratings of employees assisting him.

Requirements

• Should have at least five years' experience in stores work or its equivalent.
• Must be able to perform semi-routine operations of considerable complexity and variety where standard methods of procedure are available. Equivalent to four years of high school; or two years of high school plus two years apprenticeship or trade school training; or common school graduate plus four years apprenticeship or trade school training.
• Should have general knowledge of construction standards, purchasing policies and stores accounting methods.
• Must be familiar with Company's Safety Rules, Prone Pressure method of Resuscitation and able to render practical First Aid.
• Must be able to qualify for automobile operator's license.
• Normal health, physique and use of senses as indicated by passing the required physical examination given by a Company physician, including color perception.
• Must be able to meet public in pleasant, tactful manner.
• Must be especially neat and orderly in work.
• Must have established reputation for being strictly honest in the custody of money or property.
• Must have established reputation of being trustworthy when in possession of confidential information.
• Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours as required.
