The role will focus on project and studio management; enabling the design team to strive for design excellence with speed and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment (4+ years)
  • Experience in architectural design or construction preferred (4+ years)
  • Supports a design, creative or similar organization (4+ years
  • Basic knowledge of architectural design software (Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred (4+ years)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign (1+ years)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or Associates degree (any field of study) or significant professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized design administrative support using Starbucks systems to meet project and studio goals, ensuring efficient, high-quality, brand-aligned delivery.
  • Support the store design studio by staying current on administrative processes and leveraging tools to manage gaps, solve challenges, and align with Starbucks brand standards and organizational structure.
  • Support the store design studio by efficiently managing tools, systems, and priorities such as project reporting and consultant contracting and payments, while demonstrating strong time management and prioritization.
  • Collaborate to foster a positive team environment and meet business goals, while contributing to visual and written design communication, including project planning & scoping, team communications, photography, and new partner onboarding.
  • Apply a growth mindset to maintain integrity and reliability in studio processes while continuously improving processes and results.

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
