About The Position

37.5 hour work week. Day shift schedule. A WNY non-profit has a need for a Stationary Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the central Utility Plant Systems including BAS, boilers, chillers, emergency generators and all associated sub-systems. Actual pay rate offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining safe and efficient operation of building systems and installing/repairing equipment accordingly
• Ensuring proper operation of chillers, boilers, emergency generators, machinery, pump, etc.
• Observing, interpreting and maintaining BAS
• Maintaining daily logs of operation, maintenance, safety
• Testing boiler water quality and taking corrective action as necessary
• Responding to and resolving HVAC issues
