We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Standards Engineer at UL Standards & Engagement. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Evanston, IL or Raleigh-Durham, NC. The Senior Standards Engineer will support a diverse portfolio of standards and related initiatives, driving the technical quality, relevance, and integrity of safety standards to advance of the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Senior Standards Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert across broad technical areas and ensure safety standards are supported through disciplined engineering analysis, grounded in credible data, research and test evidence. The Senior Standards Engineer will apply engineering principles, data inputs, stakeholder insights and structured technical evaluation to strengthen standards content, identify gaps, support improvements, and help the organization respond more effectively to new and emerging technologies.
