Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience, programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with security, privacy and compliance.
• Experience as a technical lead, mentoring and coaching other engineers.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a structured organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

• Be an uber tech lead for Regulated Cloud Solutions.
• Lead a full-stack team driving key features for one of Google cloud platform (GCP's) critical security products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance our platform.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Partner and collaborate with related engineering teams, managers, product management and program management to ensure the development of high-quality solutions in a timely way
• Collaborate, mentor and develop other team members.
• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
