Data Center Orchestration automates the physical management and functional testing of hardware in Google's data centers and releases them to support production services. In this role, you will work in a unique area of Google that bridges the physical with the virtual. You will gain detailed knowledge of Google's racks, machines, networking, and machine learning equipment, and ensure Google can meet its growing demand for compute resources. You will be responsible for working with other leads to define the technical strategy, grounded in business impact, and guide the team towards the execution of that goal. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in the design of data center systems engineering, system architecture, controls and integration.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; defining the technical direction and overseeing projects.
  • Experience in planning the business strategy.
