Orchestration Engineer $79,518 - $98,581 / year minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing: Lead the analysis and evaluation of performance, reliability, and needs of current and proposed systems, platforms, and procedures used by Computer Orchestration and Operations. Maintain computer systems and schedules across on-prem and off-prem environments while assisting with new application implementations. Ensure systems and data availability. Coordinate with information services teams, assist with upgrades, perform maintenance activities, and lead medium-to-large projects. What We're Looking For: Ability to operate Operations Control Center applications. Ability to initiate and implement systems projects of moderate size and complexity. Capability to both lead and delegate integral Operations responsibilities. Ability to research emerging technologies, trends, and products as required. Understanding of utilities, automation, and productivity applications including but not limited to TSO, ISPF, JCL, REXX, ACR Summary, SAS, GDDM, Storage Management, Broadcom ESP, Broadcom OPS/MVS, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with operational characteristics of system software including but not limited to z/OS, JES2, IMS, CICS, DB2, WebSphere MQ, FTP, Zowe, TCP/IP, VTAM, NCCF, EREP, and NCP. Prior experience in application programming, IBM mainframe computer operations, and/or AWS cloud operations beneficial. Maintain a steady work schedule with regular, predictable attendance to minimize disruption to department schedules and deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency in leading and implementing medium- to large-sized systems or projects. Willingness to work non-business hours while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements
