About The Position

As the Sr Staff, SAP FICO Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Controlling (CO) processes to enable accurate cost management, profitability analysis, and financial reporting. Partner with Finance and Operations teams to optimize cost allocation, product costing, and performance reporting within SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments

Requirements

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA Finance.
  • Familiarity with integration points (MM, SD, and third-party systems).

Nice To Haves

  • More than 5 years of experience in SAP CO
  • SAP certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and enhancements, including general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting. Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules (Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP)) and third-party systems.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead SAP Controlling (CO) module configuration for Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing. Design and implement cost allocation cycles.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing controlling processes and recommend improvements aligned with best practices. Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within SAP CO. Drive automation and reporting enhancements for cost transparency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, finance teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Provide expert guidance on SAP CO functionalities and their impact on business processes.
  • System Enhancements & Support: Provide Level 3 support for SAP CO-related issues. Lead testing cycles (unit, integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)) and ensure defect resolution. Monitor system performance and propose enhancements.
  • Documentation & Training: Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and user training materials. Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and support teams.
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams across different time zones to achieve project goals.
  • Stays ahead of SAP technical roadmap and innovation and recommend adoption where value can be realized
