Build the cloud and delivery infrastructure behind one of the most widely adopted open-source AI platforms shipping real products in production today. This is a rare opportunity to join early and own the cloud platform, CI/CD, and enterprise infrastructure that powers AI copilots and agents used by startups and Fortune 100 companies alike. Youâll join as a Senior / Staff Founding Software Engineer focused on Cloud Platform and DevOps, with full ownership of the enterprise-grade infrastructure that supports a rapidly growing AI developer platform. Youâll build the cloud-native backend systems that complement a widely used open-source toolkit, balancing startup speed with enterprise-grade security, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- 3+ years owning cloud infrastructure for production systems
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containers
- Hands-on CI/CD ownership (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
- AWS experience and cloud architecture knowledge
- Working knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript
- High ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity
Nice To Haves
- Experience with other cloud providers (GCP, Azure)
- Open-source contribution or maintenance experience
- Experience with AI/ML or developer platforms
- Observability and monitoring expertise
Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud architecture for an enterprise AI platform
- Support hosted and self-hosted deployment models
- Own CI/CD pipelines for production systems and open-source packages
- Implement infrastructure as code for consistent deployments
- Build monitoring, logging, and alerting for production
- Establish security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices
- Optimize cloud performance and cost as usage scales
