  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing production test solutions for mixed-signal ICs or modules using Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
  • Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles in areas including: Analog and digital circuits, Power devices, High-speed signal integrity, Statistics and data analysis
  • Experience designing PCBs using schematic capture tools such as: ORCAD, Allegro
  • Programming skills and experience in, C/C++, Visual Basic
  • Strong understanding of test engineering principles and methodologies
  • Experience with EDA tools and PCB design
  • Knowledge of Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and ATE systems
  • Familiarity with test programming languages and software development
  • Ability to analyze and optimize test processes to reduce costs and improve quality
  • Demonstrated skills in: Problem-solving, Communications, Teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience with Teradyne ETS systems (highly desirable)
  • Hands-on experience making bench electrical measurements using: Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers
  • Knowledge of digital and analog IC design environment, pattern generation, and verification (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Development: Document test requirements, create test plans, and develop test methods.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with design and concept engineers to incorporate Design for Test (DfT) features into new products.
  • Test Hardware Development: Develop test hardware using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, leveraging pre-existing libraries for PCB templates and component symbols.
  • Test Program Development and Validation: Create test programs, convert Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) test patterns, integrate with test equipment and hardware, debug, and validate them on Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
  • Test Package Documentation and Release: Document and release test packages to volume production, supporting silicon characterization and qualification.
  • Test Optimization and Cost Reduction: Reduce test costs and improve the quality of existing test solutions through test method improvements and test platform transfers.
