About The Position
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Staff Accountant with experience in outsourced accounting environments or within a private‑equity–backed organization . This role supports full‑cycle accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, and process improvement in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years accounting experience
- Advanced Excel and strong general software proficiency
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule availability
- ability to pass background and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience in outsourced accounting or PE‑backed organizations (preferred)
- Healthcare accounting experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Full‑cycle AP/AR and daily accounting operations
- Month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Consolidations, intercompany activity, and GAAP financial support
- Cash application, daily sales recording, and purchase order tracking
- Revenue schedule management and customer billing
- Vendor management and payroll support
- Assist with audits, tax preparation, budgets, and financial modeling
- Drive process improvements and implement accounting best practices
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
