Your Role As a Senior Accountant at XBOW, you’ll help scale and strengthen our financial operations during a period of rapid growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with our internal team and external accounting partners to support essential accounting tasks, from AR/AP to maintaining accurate records for audits and month-end close. This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to all areas of accounting in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience spread across public accounting (Big 4) and private sector in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and work cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Brex a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing journal entries, perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness in compliance with GAAP.
  • Support end-to-end AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, collections, payables, 1099 and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare close schedules and help drive timely and accurate reporting.
  • Support in tracking and categorizing expenses in alignment with budget forecasts and internal policies.
  • Help organize documentation for financial audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with special projects, system upgrades, and ad hoc reporting as required
