About The Position

The Sr. Staff Accountant will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role requires compliance with GAAP, management of audits, cash flow analysis, and the ability to lead special projects. This position also involves supervision of direct reports, training, and collaboration across various divisions.

  • Bilingual in Mandarin (oral & written), preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Expert level in Excel is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close, create reporting packages, and oversee accounts, ledgers, and systems for compliance.
  • Provide financial reporting, analysis, cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Analyze data, present accurate and timely financial reports, and communicate variances.
  • Direct audits, recommend procedural improvements, and manage company line of credit based on Aged Trial Balance.
  • Ensure GAAP compliance through annual audits and maintain internal/external accounting controls.
  • Maintain controls for revenue, costs, and expenditures, forecast cash flow, and analyze industry trends.
  • Create revenue regression models, implement new processes, and assist with new licensing systems.
  • Lead special projects, supervise direct reports, provide training, and collaborate on ad-hoc operational analysis.
