About The Position
A growing construction and real estate organization is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to take full ownership of critical accounting functions across multiple entities. This is a direct replacement role with immediate impact from day one — your work will sit at the core of financial accuracy and compliance for active construction and real estate projects.
Requirements
- Proven accounting experience in construction and real estate, with multi-entity exposure
- Hands-on proficiency with JDE — this is a firm requirement
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel at the VLOOKUPs and PivotTables level
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities across entities
- Highly organized, technically capable, and ready to take ownership of your work
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post loan closing journal entries accurately and on schedule
- Process loan draws and perform thorough reconciliations
- Manage loan reporting and documentation to maintain compliance
- Support month-end close processes across multiple entities
- Maintain job cost accounting for construction and real estate projects
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting
