Senior SQL DBA - BPO -LH
About The Position
SS&C, through our partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC (d/b/a Luminae Partners), is seeking a Senior SQL DBA / Data Engineer to work in our client's Palm Beach Gardens, FL, office. Be part of a collaborative and innovative data engineering team that supports mission-critical database systems across SS&C's global infrastructure. This team plays a key role in optimizing database performance, implementing cloud-based solutions, and developing robust data integration pipelines for our financial services clients.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing and supporting SQL Server database environments
- Proficiency in developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and automation scripts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments and updates
- Experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Strong understanding of data architecture, including data vault modeling
- Skills in data cleansing, transformation, and warehousing processes
- Proven ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning expertise
- Experience working in Windows Server environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Lead SQL Server database strategy and management for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to design, develop, and support scalable database platforms
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance monitoring of SQL Server databases
- Review and implement changes using CI/CD methodologies to ensure safe and efficient deployments
- Develop complex stored procedures and scripts to enforce business rules and enable system support
- Work directly with clients to manage data extraction, cleaning, transformation, archiving, and warehousing
- Implement data vault and archiving solutions using Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Maintain database integrity, availability, and security across environments
