Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience contributing to and/or leading design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
RF and SATCOM Experience
Demonstrated experience in network engineering, including the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network architectures
Proven experience in systems engineering principles and practices
Use modeling tools and methods (e.g., SysML, UML) to create clear and detailed system architecture diagrams.
Risk Management Experience

Responsibilities

Generate and manage system and subsystem-level requirements specifications using requirements management tools such as DOORS, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the lifecycle
Conduct comprehensive requirement traceability analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are fully addressed and covered by the system requirements.
Document the development of system capabilities and ensure comprehensive architectural representation aligned with requirements
Create and maintain verification matrices; actively support system verification and validation activities including test planning and execution
Lead and manage technical teams in a collaborative environment to successfully meet project objectives
Define and manage interfaces between system elements, using Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other means to ensure compatibility and interoperability.
Leverage interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills to foster cross-functional teamwork and resolve technical challenges effectively
Lead efforts to innovate and improve existing system designs. Resolve complex technical issues that arise during the design, development, or deployment phases.
Perform detailed trade studies and system analysis to evaluate design options, balance requirements, and make informed decisions.
Engage with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
