About The Position

This position is for a Senior Specialist Sales Event Lead at AT&T, focused on accelerating product and service growth and penetration to consumer customers in targeted market areas. The role involves identifying new and existing neighborhoods for product launches, creating prospecting plans, establishing relationships within local communities and HOAs, and planning/coordinating/facilitating various marketing events. The lead will partner with installation teams, retail/IHX/D2D, and regional marketing to ensure successful event execution, solicit on-site sales support, and develop appropriate marketing collateral. The role also includes attending events to maintain key partner relationships, oversee sales activity, and provide on-site coaching and education to consumers and sales partners. AT&T, founded by Alexander Graham Bell, has been innovating for nearly 150 years, connecting families, communities, and businesses with products and services like 5G and Fiber.

Requirements

  • Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3 years Telecommunications experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with BU Leadership and other departments, identifies new and existing neighborhoods that are going live with new products and services
  • Creates prospecting plans to find potential consumer customers to sell AT&T products and services
  • Establishes relationships within local communities and HOAs
  • Plans/coordinates/facilitates various marketing events in partnership with community leaders and ensures adherence/compliance with community rules/regulations
  • Engages/contacts installation team to advise of scheduled events and to alert them to influx of business in a targeted neighborhood
  • Partners with retail/IHX/D2D when events are scheduled to solicit on-site sales support
  • Works with the regional marketing team to create/develop appropriate marketing collateral for the event
  • Attends the events to maintain relationships with the key partners, to oversee sales activity, and to provide on-site coaching/education as needed to both consumers and sales partners
