Senior Specialist, Pricing
About The Position
Entegris is seeking a Senior Pricing Specialist to spearhead pricing initiatives and develop comprehensive commercial strategies. If hired in this capacity, you will be involved in analyzing market trends, optimizing pricing models, and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth. You will also manage product life cycles, ensuring successful and sustained performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment with business objectives and enhance competitive positioning in the market. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work harmoniously across departments. This position is based in Bedford, MA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in pricing strategy or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing and commercial strategies.
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Experience with SAP pricing module required. Experience with pricing software such as PROS or Zilliant preferred
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion
- A self-motivated individual contributor with a high degree of personal accountability and a detail oriented approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoftâ¯Excel skills; advanced skills including use of pivot tables, advanced formulas, and power query
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI skills; advanced skills including use of relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to create effective pricing models that maximize profitability.
- Develop Commercial Strategy : Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Provide Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Monitor and Report on Performance: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing and commercial strategies, adjusting as necessary.
- Train and Support our Sales Team: Train sales teams on using pricing tools effectively to ensure accurate and competitive quoting
- Develop process and best practices to sustain and continuously improve price management
