About The Position

JOB TITLE: Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff JOB LOCATION: 200 S Laurel Ave, Middletown, NJ 07748 DUTIES: Drive research and development initiatives, integrate emerging technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Provide strategic direction and leadership to develop and implement innovative, scalable, and robust systems aligning with organizational goals. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development. Lead complex projects from inception to implementation and foster a collaborative team environment. Effectively communicate project progress and technical concepts to stakeholders. Conduct quantitative, algorithmic, and theory-based analysis for addressing business issues in information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market and financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems. Work on Full stack development of 5G Core deployment and configuration automation solutions for production systems utilizing MEAN/MERN development including experience in MongoDB, Express, Angular, React (latest version 18+) (redux), Node.JS (node 12+) including with functional programming in Java Script. Develop workflows on the Itential Automation Platform (IAP) to automate tasks especially for deployment, configuration, and upgrades of 5G Core Network Functions. Create prototypes to validate design concepts so the team can get feedback from operations users. Ensure software development follows AT&T LevelUP processes, use AT&T best practices, and is security compliant. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, and high performance. Lead software design discussions/scrum meetings. Document code and workflow design. Work on Unit test for all developed code and workflows. Package code for promotion in labs and in production. REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electronic Engineering, Computer and Communication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing MEAN/MERN development including experience in MongoDB, Express, Angular, React (latest version 18+) (redux), Node.JS (node 12+) including with functional programming in Java Script; utilizing the Itential Automation Platform (IAP) workflow engine to automate tasks especially for deployment, configuration, and upgrades of 5G Core Network Functions.
