About The Position

The Propellant Manufacturing Engineer provides night shift support for rocket motor mixing and casting, implementing process improvements to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. The role involves solving complex, multi-disciplinary technical challenges through creative analysis and prior experience with minimal oversight. Additionally, the engineer must support all onsite propellant and warhead compositions while working toward specific performance goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineer experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related engineer experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related engineer experience.

Nice To Haves

Computer skills sufficient to generate reports and analyze data using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Minitab.
Lean Six Sigma certification.
Statistical Analysis experience.
Understands rocket propulsion component(s) and theory of operation.
Experience working with Energetics and DOD contracts.
