Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us. Position Summary: Facilities Senior Specialist, Contract Management will oversee and manage TIER I Vendor program. This role involves direct collaboration with vendors to ensure service delivery and compliance. The Facilities Specialist will act as a liaison between vendors, procurement, Quality, and ISNetworld. Key responsibilities include reviewing vendor contracts, supporting contract renewals, and monitoring vendor training compliance.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of vendor management, operations and engineering generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in business, a related discipline, or its equivalent.
  • A Minimum 4 years’ experience in one of the following fields: Vendor Management Processes/Maintenance, Biopharmaceutical Process Equipment Maintenance, Experience with the alignment of Manufacturing Schedule with the Maintenance Schedule.
  • Experience in developing and following up on contracts with outside vendors in the performance of maintenance and delivery activities.
  • Adaptable to a fast paced, complex and changing business environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maximo, SAP or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all employees at all levels.
  • Project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • TIER I Vendor Program Management Lead the TIER I Vendor Program, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.
  • Define and maintain selection criteria for TIER I vendors based on criticality, spend, and performance impact.
  • Develop strong relationships with key TIER I vendors to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate routine performance and business review meetings with TIER I vendors.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (procurement, operations, legal, safety) to optimize vendor utilization and compliance.
  • KPI Development and Tracking Establish performance metrics (KPIs) for vendors such as on-time delivery, quality compliance, safety incidents, and cost control.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance data regularly; provide insights and trend reports to leadership.
  • Initiate corrective actions for underperforming vendors and track improvement plans.
  • Benchmark KPIs across vendors to promote best practices and healthy competition.
  • ISN Point of Contact (ISNetworld) Serve as the primary point of contact for ISN-related activities, including vendor onboarding, compliance submissions, and training validation.
  • Ensure all vendors meet ISN requirements before site engagement, including documentation, certifications, and insurance.
  • Regularly audit vendor ISN profiles to verify accuracy and currency.
  • Communicate ISN updates and compliance changes to vendors and internal teams.
  • Contract Review and Management Review vendor contracts for scope clarity, service level agreements (SLAs), and risk mitigation.
  • Act as liaison between legal, procurement, and the vendor during contract negotiation or renewal.
  • Maintain a centralized database of active contracts, renewal dates, and compliance terms.
  • Ensure contract terms align with TIER I program goals and company policies.
  • Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with EHS, Quality, Facilities, and Finance to ensure vendor alignment with site requirements.
  • Support new project initiatives by identifying and onboarding qualified vendors early.
  • Escalate major vendor issues and lead resolution efforts collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Risk and Compliance Oversight Proactively identify vendor risks (e.g., financial instability, safety performance) and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to all regulatory, GMP, and company-specific compliance standards.
