Job Location: New York, NY Working Environment: Hybrid Your Team's Impact FactSet’s Research Management System (RMS) facilitates our clients’ investment research process by allowing them to store and share notes, documents, and other critical information related to their internal research and due diligence processes. The RMS is a suite of workflow-driven solutions tailored to the needs of each client, helping boost cross-firm collaboration, maintain compliance, and ensure research continuity. Our RMS solution combined with the content and tools of the core workstation, and together with other specialty solutions such as Portfolio & Performance Analytics, put FactSet in the unique position to offer an end-to-end research and investment workflow solution. The Internal Research Notes (IRN) product is the core of our research management offering to Asset Manager, Asset Owner, and Wealth clients. The Americas Asset Owner team is dedicated to implementing IRN at new Asset Owner clients as well as supporting our existing client base. During implementations, the team’s primary objective is to successfully gather requirements, project plan, and build out workflows. They will also oversee relationships across a wide user base, providing expertise on advanced IRN projects and workflows to our clients. In this role, you will work with new and existing clients to identify and configure optimal organizational and research management strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of industry related experience

  • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities
  • Client obsession mentality - dedication and focus on guiding clients towards optimal solutions
  • Knowledge of RMS workflows and IRN, or strong interest in working with IRN
  • Prior experience supporting RMS clients and/or FactSet workstation is preferred
  • Understanding of Asset Owner, Asset Manager, and Wealth workflows preferred, with the understanding that this role will focus primarily on Asset Owners
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales as necessary during the sales cycle to ensure prospects have full insight into the breadth of functionality available from deployment of our RMS solutions
  • Assist with definition and setup of trials for prospects
  • Define, design, and implement solutions and IRN best practices for clients spanning Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Wealth Management, Asset Owner firms, etc. with a focus on Asset Owner firms
  • Implement IRN for new clients that can vary from small implementations to large-scale deployments
  • Implement IRN for new teams or implement new advanced workflows at existing clients
  • Gather detailed requirements from clients, document these requirements in Statements of Work and develop implementation project plans
  • Advise on and create optimal proprietary processes that are tailored to individual clients and the various firm types that use IRN
  • Follow best practices for IRN Implementations (Statements of Work, Implementation RPDs, client updates and communication)
  • Derive a strategic plan for your book of clients to optimize the value your clients receive from IRN
  • Proactively involve the FactSet generalists’ teams in your advanced project work
  • Collaborate with the FactSet generalists’ teams and RMS Sales to act on at-risk/low-usage clients by sharing IRN enhancements and new functionality with the users
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IRN functionality and advanced projects
  • Identify opportunities to expand RMS and larger FactSet footprint across your book of clients
  • Understand our RMS product strategy, enhancements, and roadmap
  • Collaborate with IRN PD/Engineering to ensure client feedback is properly communicated into product enhancements
